Dr. Stephen Huang established Woden Dental Care in 2004 with a vision for a practice grounded in transparency and patient-first care. 

Over the last two decades, he has become a trusted figure in the Woden Valley, known for his clinical excellence and conservative treatment planning. Dr. Huang believes in providing patients with clear, honest advice, ensuring they feel empowered to make informed decisions about their oral health. His leadership sets the standard for the high-quality, professional environment our patients have come to rely on.

Dr. Arvind Chawla - Woden Dental Care

Dr. Arvind Chawla joined the practice in late 2025, bringing more than 15 years of Australian dental experience.

Dr Chawla having practiced extensively across South Australia and New South Wales, including nearly a decade running his own practice in the Bega Valley, Dr. Arvind understands the importance of continuity of care. He is highly regarded for his gentle and compassionate approach, making him a favorite among families and patients who may feel uneasy about dental visits. Dr. Arvind is dedicated to patient-centered care and is proud to serve the local Woden community.

Natalie has been practicing since 2010 and holds an Advanced Diploma of Oral Health. 

Natalie is particularly skilled in supporting patients with dental anxiety. Her calm, reassuring demeanor helps patients of all ages feel comfortable while they receive essential care to prevent future dental issues. She plays a critical role in our preventive care department, focusing on patient education and long-term oral hygiene maintenance. 

Our Team - Mr. David McGuinness - Dental Prosthetist

With over 40 years of professional experience, David McGuinness is an expert in providing tailored denture solutions. 

A graduate of the Royal Melbourne Dental Hospital and a member of the Australian Dental Prosthetists Association, David specializes in full and partial denture, intermediate dentures and professional denture repairs. David is also a recognized provider for Veterans’ Affairs and NSW Health, reflecting his high standing and trustworthiness in the field of prosthetics. His career spans public health, private practice, and service with the Royal Australian Air Force.

Payal Monga – Front Office Coordinator

Front Office Coordinator

Payal recently joined the team at Woden Dental Care as a Front Office Coordinator and brings over five years of experience working as a dental assistant.

Her clinical background helps her understand patient needs and support the team in delivering a smooth and organised experience at the front desk. Payal enjoys welcoming patients, assisting with appointments, and helping create a comfortable and friendly environment in the clinic. She values clear communication and enjoys making patients feel supported from the moment they arrive.

Front Office Coordinator

Karen has over 15 years of experience working in front office and administrative roles. 

As the Front Office Coordinator at Woden Dental Care, she plays an important role in ensuring the practice runs smoothly and that every patient feels welcomed and supported from the moment they arrive. Karen is known for her warm, friendly nature and her ability to assist patients with appointments, enquiries, and general coordination within the clinic. She enjoys helping create a calm and positive environment for both patients and the team.
